How to get Krait in Destiny 2
Krait is part of the global loot pool. That means it’s not tied to a specific activity and can instead drop randomly from almost any source that can reward legendary loot. There is also no pattern for it, so you can’t create Krait.
The best thing to do is farming activities that offer legendary rewards. This means that the Vanguard playlist can be a good option and potentially reward Krait after successfully completing it. You can also decode unfocused Umbral Engrams to shoot his weapon.
Make sure to equip the Ghost Prosperity (Vanguard) mod. This gives playlist attacks and Nightfalls a chance to drop an additional piece of legendary gear upon completion, including weapons like Krait.
Otherwise, continue playing whatever you want in Destiny 2 and keep an eye on your inventory and/or postmaster. Krait can appear almost at any time, and when it does, you need to make sure you don’t accidentally remove it.
God Krait roll recommendation in Destiny 2
Krait is excellent for unloading sustained damage from short to medium-long range. She is a stasis kineticist and has the Veist Stinger source trait, which has a chance to reload the magazine every time you damage an enemy.

Arrowhead Brake is an easy choice for Krait. Controlling recoil is the key to hitting your target while continuously firing, and the Arrowhead Brake’s boost for that and handling are significant.
Ricochet Rounds further increase Krait’s stability, while also increasing range. Clever Guardians will also notice that you can use this to reflect bullets off hard surfaces, allowing you to shoot at walls or the floor to keep pressure on Guardians hiding behind cover, or indiscriminately damage groups of weak enemies.
Subsistence is perfect for Krait. With this perk, 14% of the weapon’s magazine is reloaded after a kill. That means a group of adds can keep Krait busy and firing indefinitely.
The Tombstone is a powerful buff, if you know how to use it. Any enemy that dies leaves a stasis crystal, the so-called tombstone of this perk. This crystal does several good things. Some enemies will attack you and shoot you. It can freeze enemies that touch it. You can also shoot him with a stasis weapon (like Krait) to rip him apart and cause a burst of damage all around. It’s a swiss army knife of stasis energy and extremely useful.
As usual, once you have your preferred roll, be sure to upgrade it to Masterwork to give it a stat boost, the ability to spawn orbs on multiple kills, and add the option for a kill tracker.
