How to Get an Extraordinary Performance in Destiny 2

The Extraordinary Performance was originally specific to the Cabal-themed Battlefield event. However, that’s no longer the case, as that system was retired during later seasons (although you can still play Battlegrounds for fun).

Now you must visit Xur when he comes calling. This mysterious Agent of the Nine appears at 12pm EST (5pm BST) on Fridays and leaves at 12pm EST (5pm BST) on Tuesdays. He can be in several different places in the Solar System. You can search for it yourself or check a Xur Tracker.

Their assortment changes every week and will include a selection of previously available weapons from previous seasons. Extraordinary Rendition is one of these weapons. You are completely at the mercy of Xur’s bag of goodies and the scroll he sells is fixed. If you want an extraordinary performance of your own (particularly a good roll), you will have to depend completely on him.

Extraordinary Performance God Roll Recommendation in Destiny 2

Extraordinary Rendition is an aggressive frame SMG in Destiny 2. Yes, it shoots fast, but more importantly, it shoots hard. There’s a lot of potential damage, but you’ll need to be able to control the recoil and shoot accurately to take advantage of it. The best perks, or “God Roll,” help do just that.

Here’s our recommended Divine Extraordinary Performance roll in Destiny 2:

  • Compensator with chamber
  • tactical mag
  • Subsistence
  • Rampage

The chambered compensator takes first place and does two important things. First, it increases stability. With the strong impact of this weapon, that is very necessary. Second, control the recoil. This means that instead of jumping all over the place, it retreats in a predictable and controllable direction. This goes a long way toward addressing the two main drawbacks of this weapon.

Tactical Mag further improves stability, which is good, and increases reload speed, which is excellent. This weapon will empty bullets quickly and loading a fresh magazine quickly is key to maximizing damage output.

Survival is wonderful against multitudes of weak enemies. Each kill recharges 10% of the magazine. Keep killing, keep filling. It’s that simple and makes you an extra cleaning beast with this weapon.

Rampage is a huge compliment to Subsistence. Kills will not only refill ammo, but will now add a damage buff that stacks up to three times. On full stacks, damage dealt is increased by over 33%. That’s huge and can reduce even high-level enemies to dust at surprising speed.

As usual, once you have your preferred roll, be sure to upgrade it to Masterwork to give it a stat boost, the ability to spawn orbs on multiple kills, and add the option for a kill tracker.
