How to get the Coronation Duologue in Destiny 2

Crowning Duologue is a Solstice of Heroes weapon. Like other event-specific weaponry, this means it is only available in specific activities and during certain periods.

In this case, you will have to participate in the Bonfire Bash event. This can be initiated from a terminal next to Eva Levante in the Tower, or through the Director. In this mode, Guardians will wander around an area called the European Ariel Zone, eliminating enemies and using special orbs they drop to light the titular bonfire. Completing the event rewards each participant with some random drops, including the chance (but not guaranteed) of Crowning Duologue.

Whether the rocket launcher is awarded is pure luck. There is no limit to the number of times you can perform the event, so repeating Bonfire Bash is your only option to earn multiple rolls of the weapon. Also note that it is not tied to specific event currencies, having Silver Ash or Leaves does not affect your chances of acquiring Crowing Duologue.

The Season of the Depths is here along with the Into the Depths quest. You too can know how to go fishing! Don’t forget to keep an eye on the Lost Sector and King’s Fall challenge rotation schedule!

Crowning Duologue God Roll Recommendation in Destiny 2

Crowning Duologue is a precision-built rocket launcher. That means he excels at accurate shots, but doesn’t hit as hard as aggressive frame shooters. The best version, or ‘God Roll’, of this weapon takes advantage of its ease of use and unique position as a thread-based weapon.

Here’s our recommended Crowning Duologue divine roll in Destiny 2:

  • linear compensator
  • black powder
  • demolitionist
  • Chain reaction (or breeding)

The linear compensator is a do-it-all barrel type. This increases stability, speed and explosion radius. Stability will mitigate some drawbacks of other perks, speed increases direct hit damage, and blast radius increases the lethal area for AOE damage. It’s a great combination to make this a more lethal weapon against groups of enemies.

Black Powder further improves the blast radius, which is one of our main goals with this launcher. The drop in stability is a small price to pay and is largely offset by the stability improvement of the Linear Compensator.

Normally we would recommend the auto-loading holster as a launcher, but Demolitionist can handle it for you if you use it correctly. This perk instantly recharges you when you throw a grenade and adds some grenade energy. Simply shoot, throw, and shoot again at a group for explosive fun.

Chain Reaction is what most Guardians should use. Final blows create additional explosions that match the user’s subclass, dealing more damage to enemies. It’s one of the best perks for wiping out an entire swarm of enemies, and it makes this weapon a lot of fun to use.

However, Hatchling deserves an honorable mention when using the Strand subclass. Strand-based builds will delight in the Threadlings that spawn. These Threadlings not only seek out and damage enemies, but the thread-based damage they deal works in conjunction with thread mods and damage buffs, making the entire kit even more lethal.

As usual, once you have your preferred roll, be sure to upgrade it to Masterwork to give it a stat boost, the ability to spawn orbs on multiple kills, and add the option for a kill tracker.
