Dauntless is a free-to-play monster hunting game from Phoenix Labs, a team made up of developers from Riot Games and other BioWare studios.
After a PC beta period, Dauntless is now available on PS4 and Xbox One, as well as re-releasing on PC via the Epic Games Store.
Dauntless crossplay is possible between certain systems, with the possibility of Dauntless Switch and Dauntless mobile crossplay in the future as well.
Dauntless release time on PS4, Xbox One and PC
Dauntless launches on all platforms on Tuesday, May 21, with the same release time as Dauntless for PS4, Xbox, and PC:
- United Kingdom: 15:00 (GMT)
- Europe: 16:00 hours (CET)
- US East Coast: 10 am (EDT)
- US West Coast: 7 am (PDT)
Although developer Phoenix Labs has confirmed previous Dauntless release times, as with any game release, the time could vary slightly depending on the platform.
There will be no Dauntless preload available, meaning that assuming all goes well, the moments above are when you can start downloading the client and start playing.
Remember, the only way to get Dauntless for PC is through the Epic Games Store; There are no plans for a Steam version for now.

Dauntless Crossplay and Cross Progression Explained
Dauntless offers cross-play and cross-progression between PS4, Xbox One, and PC at launch, as confirmed by the Phoenix Labs RobinatorPHX account on reddit:
This means that logging in with your account on any platform will allow you to continue your progress in Dauntless and play with others on the system of your choice.
Fearless crossplay was a vision of the game from the beginning. Here is the official statement about the developer’s intentions:
“We believe Slayers should be able to play together no matter where they play from, whether it’s Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or the Epic Games Store. That’s why we’re working hard to make “One Dauntless” a reality. “

Is Dauntless coming to Nintendo Switch and mobile devices?
The short answer is yes: there are Switch and mobile versions of Dauntless in development.
The longer answer is that they’re not here yet: Dauntless Switch, iOS, and Android won’t launch alongside the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions, and there’s no estimated release date either. All we know is that Phoenix Labs is working on them.
With Dauntless crossplay available for existing platforms, it’s likely that crossplay will also be the goal for the Switch and mobile versions.
