Dark Souls 2 wasn’t exactly small to begin with, but judging by the two DLC released so far, it’s going to be absolutely huge when From Software finally stops adding it. The latest installment of the DLC, Crown of the Old Iron King, is extensive.
It’s the second of three parts in a trilogy called The Lost Crowns, as you probably already know, and takes you through the dangerous Brume Tower, where you’ll have to face numerous Ax Demons, Giant Club Demons, explosive enemies, and a couple of fearsome bosses, including an old friend. There are fewer traps than the last installment, but it’s still a difficult and twisting set of locations with plenty of hidden surprises.
In addition to dealing with them, you’ll also want to know where all the bonfires and all the loot are hidden, so it’s a good thing you came to our Crown of the Old Iron King guide. Check out the individual sections below if you’re stuck somewhere specific, or just read from the beginning if you feel like you want to be one step ahead of your opponents at all times.
