Information’s Braindance Cyberpunk 2077 is the first real test of your in-game detective skills.
Shortly after the Braindance tutorial, the puzzle allows V to explore Yorinobu’s apartment to find a relic before an infiltration mission.
There is one primary objective for completing the puzzle: finding the Relic, as well as an optional secondary objective: scanning the apartment’s security systems.
Although the tracking layers at the top of the screen provide some clues as to where to find them, you still have to look in the right place to complete these objectives, which is where this page comes into play.

How to Start The Information Braindance
As with all Braindances, it’s best to see things in first person and in linear order, to first get a feel for the story and setting.
This plays out as follows: Evelyn will enter the apartment, where Yorinobu will take a video call, followed by a phone call.
This first step is simple: change the audio track, then the playback mode, to have a free camera. Now focus the phone on Yorinobu’s head and follow him until the phone call is completed.
This is where the most challenging objectives will begin.
How to scan Yorinobu’s datapad in The Information Braindance
Next, you need to scan the Yorinobu datapad.
To do this, watch until the end of the sequence. Now, on the visual layer, focus on the datapad when you enter the header drawer.
How to Scan Apartment Security Systems in The Information Braindance
To complete this optional objective, you must scan four specific points in the level.
The first is the alarm system and the camera with motion sensor, located to the right of the apartment entrance. For us, we scanned them while we were in the visual layer just as Evelyn enters the apartment.
Next, there is an automated turret and a motion-sensing camera on the ceiling, just outside the bedroom. For us, we scan into the visual layer about 75% of the track.
With this information, you now know that you will need Flathead to complete The Pickup to help disable these security systems.

How to search for thermal clues to find the relic in The Information Braindance
To complete The Information Braindance, you’re using the thermal cloak to search for cool items and see where the Relic is hidden. There are a few of these in the apartment: an air conditioning unit, a refrigerator, and even a champagne ice bucket to throw you off your game.
To find the location of the relic, you need to look through about a third of the sequence. That’s when Yorinobu is on the phone on the other side of the apartment.
Switch to the thermal layer and make sure you are in free camera mode. Now look at the far corner of the apartment. This is a distant area that is not explored as part of the sequence, but since Evelyn is close enough, you can scan it, revealing a secret compartment in the floor.
Once scanned, you will be able to exit Braindance; however, it’s worth completing the optional objective above before you go.
