Cyberpunk 2077 Disasterpiece Braindance walkthrough

Cyberpunk 2077 Disasterpiece Braindance walkthrough

Disasterpiece’s Braindance in Cyberpunk 2077 is relatively simple but grim, tasking you with simply figuring out where Evelynn was taken from clues in the recording.

It begins near the start of the Disasterpiece mission, relatively early in the main story missions of Cyberpunk 2077’s second act.

This one has only one goal: to analyze the brain dance and find out where it was recorded, and this page should help you do exactly that.

Disasterpiece Braindance Explained: What You’re Looking For and What’s Going On

Disasterpiece is a stomach-churning mission, so be prepared to take it on. Evelynn is missing, and what you’re doing here is trying to find her by analyzing an illicit brain dance from the head of a netrunner who’s been kidnapped against her will, to find clues as to where her captors might also be holding Evelynn.

We found a total of eight clues, although not all of them are necessary for you to obtain the information necessary to complete the brain dance. We’ll discuss how to find them all below.

Update 1.5 patch notes are here! New additions include how to change your appearance in Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk 2077 apartment locations. Elsewhere, we’ve got explanations on Cyberpunk 2077 life paths, how to earn money, XP leveling, the best Cyberpunk armor and clothing 2077, best Cyberpunk 2077 weapons, romance options, Cyberpunk 2077 endings, and how long does it take to beat Cyberpunk 2077.

Disasterpiece Braindance Solution: How to Analyze Braindance and Find Out Where It Was Recorded

There are no specific sub-goals for Disasterpiece’s Mind Dance, unlike those in previous missions like the Information Brain Dance. That means you need to put on your detective hat and look (and listen) for anything you can find.

With eight things to scan in total, here’s everything that appears, in chronological order.

The victim

As soon as you gain access to Editor Mode (Judy will tell you), jump to the third-person perspective and scan the person being dragged into the room, in the visual (yellow) layer.

the kidnapper

Next, the person dragging her (Judy will comment that she is a Scav) because of the clothes she is wearing.

the pizza box

Just beyond these two, on the counter is a pizza box, which, as you’ll notice, was recently ordered.

the scav woman

Turn the corner clockwise from the pizza and you’ll see someone else there, a Scav woman.

The laboratory suit

Wait until the victim is placed in the chair and then turn in the direction you are facing to see a body-like shape in the corner. It’s actually a hanging lab suit: a uniform for someone who works at a power plant.

Radio

Switch to the sound (green) layer and you’ll notice that there’s a fairly loud sound throughout, with the bold green line around the same point on the timeline as the lab suit. This comes from a radio, turned up to maximum to drown out the noise.

The cup of coffee

Going back to the yellow visual layer right away, there are two things on the counter that the Scav woman is leaning on. First: a cup of cold, stale coffee.

Buck-A-Slice Box

And finally, to the right of the coffee cup, a junk food delivery box from somewhere called Buck-A-Slice.

At this point, V will mention that the coffee was cold, but the pizza was still hot, and Buck-A-Slice is only a last resort if there’s nothing else nearby. Combine that with the lab suit and they should be at a power plant near a Buck-A-Slice branch so they can get takeout.

That’ll be it, so leave Braindance and you can head straight to the venue with Judy in the car if you’re up for it, or offer to meet her there if you want to do a little more prep. Be prepared for an encounter with unpleasant people, either way.
