This, of course, doesn’t instantly tell you what time something will be released in various regions. To help, here are the UTC and EDT times translated to different regions:
- 12.00 UTC or 8am EDT are: 1pm BST (UK), 2pm CEST (Europe), 5am PDT (US West Coast)
- 15.00 UTC or 11am EDT: 4pm BST (UK), 5pm CEST (Europe), 8am PDT (US West Coast)
How to start the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla The Siege of Paris DLC
After purchasing The Siege of Paris and updating the game, start Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and load a saved game. You will automatically accept a quest called Strangers Bearing Gifts.
You can also make this your main quest to fix it on your HUD, but either way, head back home to Ravensthorpe.
When you arrive, you will automatically be shown a letter from Randvi. Explain that you have guests from France asking about you. It reads:
“Two visitors have arrived at Ravensthorpe from France. One is a young Norse warrior from Jarl Sinric’s clan near Paris, and the other appears to be a Frank.
“They’ve already built us a new guesthouse as a gift from Sinric’s brother Sigfred. I’m not a psychic, but it’s obvious they want something from us.
“The warrior, a girl named Toka, has been asking about you. Talk to them and find out what they really want.”
How to get to France by completing the Strangers with Gifts mission in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Head south a bit to find Toka and the other visitor, Pierre, in the guesthouse they built. They will recognize Eivor, introduce themselves, and offer a feast. If you are ready to continue, say that you will have the banquet now. Otherwise, you can come back later.
Toka will invite Eivor to attend Paris for raids along the Seine River. However, he also admits that his true motive is to stop the powerful King Charles the Fat from destroying the Norse villages of France.
Eivor will discuss French politics with Randvi and, of course, eventually agree to travel to France with Toka.
Toka will tell you to talk to Pierre when you’re ready to head to France, and then Eivor will wake up hungover from her night of joy. Fortunately, Pierre is not far away, right in the house behind Eivor’s resting place.
You can also make the mission To France your primary objective to set its location as a mission marker.
Pierre will ask you to confirm when you’re ready, and then Eivor will sail across the Channel to a whole new adventure in France.
This will also automatically start the Warlord of Melun quest to continue the main narrative of the DLC.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla The Siege of Paris DLC Requirements: What is the recommended power level for the DLC?
Eivor will need to have quite a bit of experience to be successful in France, as the recommended power level for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Siege of Paris is 200.
However, if you are already at a higher level, the content will be expanded to ensure it remains challenging.
In addition to this relatively high recommended power level, the initial narrative of the DLC suggests that this story fits well after the main Assassin’s Creed Valhalla story is completed.
