Demeter’s Last Voyage release date
“The Last Voyage of the Demeter” premieres in the United States on August 11, 2023, distributed by Universal Pictures. The film’s release date was changed, originally scheduled for January 27, 2023, but then rescheduled.
Following its theatrical release, the film launches digitally on Aug. 29, allowing audiences to enjoy the suspenseful horror of the Demeter’s ill-fated voyage from the comfort of their own homes.
In terms of box office performance, as of September 2, 2023, “The Last Voyage of Demeter” has grossed $13.6 million in the United States and Canada, and $6.3 million in other regions, for a global total of 1990. The film is expected to gross between $6 million and $11 million in 2,715 theaters on its $10,000 opening weekend.
The film opened with $2.6 million, including $750,000 from Thursday night previews. In the end, the film debuted at a total box office of $6.5 million, firmly ranking fifth at the box office. However, it saw a massive 62 percent drop in its second weekend, taking in $2.5 million and falling to tenth place.
