Will there be a fifth season of Sex Education?
Currently, there are no plans for a fifth season of Sex Education. Netflix has confirmed that Sex Education season 4 will be the show’s final chapter. Show creator Laurie Nunn explained that while it wasn’t originally planned to be the last, during script development it became clear that now was the perfect time to wrap up the story.
Nunn is grateful for the global connections the show has made, addressing universal questions about love, sex, friendship and growing up. The decision to end the series aligns with the characters’ journeys, providing them with closure and growth. While fans may have hoped to see a surprise return, Season 4 said goodbye to Modale’s iconic character.
