Actress Lisa Loring, who played young Wednesday Addams in “The Addams Family” in 1964, died at the age of 64, this Saturday, January 28, 2023.
He also appeared in “As the World Turns.”
The actress died due to a stroke. “She left peacefully with her two daughters holding hands,” Foumberg said.
A friend, Laurie Jacobson, reported her death on Facebook, expressing her condolences and writing “she was in our hearts always like Wednesday Addams.”
Butch Patrick, who played Eddie Munster in “The Munsters,” also remembered her on Facebook, writing: “I am so sorry to hear of the passing of my dear friend Lisa Loring. We were very close and worked together often. I know she was very weak. I was in her company just a few weeks ago. Good luck my friend”.
Loring’s fruit dance called “The Drew” gained renewed attention with new Netflix series
The record-breaking new Netflix series “Wednesday,” in which Jenna Ortega does her own interpretation of the Wednesday dance, is inspired by the original.
Although her character, Wednesday Addams, is sweet in the series, but she also has a touch of sadness. Her fans loved her and she still remains alive as the young Wednesday classic in their hearts.
