Mason Mount is a professional football player from England. He plays for Premier League Clube, Chelsea as a midfielder. He also plays for the England national team.
Just after finishing his graduation at Chelsea itself, the player made his entry into Chelsea. It was on August 11, 2019 when he made his debut for Chelsea. He had also played on loan at Derby Country.
Early life
Born in Portsmouth, United Kingdom, on January 10, 1999, Mason Mount has family roots in Portsmouth. Mason Mount belongs to a football-loving middle-class family. The player’s mother was a housekeeper.
Career
Mason Mount joined Chelsea in 2005. During the 2013-2014 season, the man made his under-18 debut. During its 2016-2017 season, Mount Mason played against under-18 and under-21 teams.
He was considered a talented youth player by Chelsea and therefore it did not take long for Chelsea to sign him to a contract in July 2017 that lasted for four years.
Mount was loaned for a season to Vitesse of the Dutch Eredivisie on 24 July 2017. On 26 August, the player made his debut as a 77th-minute substitute against AZ in a 2–1 home loss. The player then received his club’s first from him in the defeat in the first round of the KNVB Cup against Swift. He played the entire 90-minute match that ended in a 0-0 draw.
On October 1, he scored his first goal for Vitesse in the 76th minute of the tied match against Utrecht. He was awarded the Vitesse Player of the Year award. He scored his first hat-trick against Dutch football club ADO Den Haag on May 9, 2018, in a 5–2 victory.
Mount has made 39 appearances for Vitesse and has scored a total of 14 goals. The player returned to Chelsea once his loan period ended.
Mason Mount has represented in the 2016 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. He was also part of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship and in the match he was named Golden Player. He was then included in the squad of 23 England men for the 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.
