July Holidays 2023: RBI has released the complete list of holidays for the month of July. This month there are only a few holidays like Guru Hargobind Ji’s birthday, Ker Puja, Bhanu Jayanti etc. apart from the second and fourth Saturdays. Both public and private sector banks in some regions of India will remain closed on all these public holidays, national holidays and on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.
About July
July is the seventh month of the Gregorian calendar, which is the most widely used civil calendar internationally. It consists of 31 days and is located between June and August. It is named after Julius Caesar, the Roman general and statesman who played a pivotal role in the events that led to the demise of the Roman Republic and the rise of the Roman Empire. In the northern hemisphere, July is part of the summer season, while in the southern hemisphere it is part of the winter season.
July 2023 holidays
A total of 8 holidays will be observed in July, excluding the second and fourth Saturdays of the month and Sundays. It should be noted that not all banks in all areas observe these holidays. Please see the following table for July 2023 holidays:

As per RBI guidelines, all Indian banks must be closed on the second and fourth Saturday of every month, apart from all Sundays. However, the first, third and fifth Saturday of each month will be operational like any other business day.
Even on holidays, consumers do not have to worry about financial transactions or any other banking services. On July 2023 holidays, all banking related services can be easily accessed through IMPS, NEFT, UPI, ATM services, net banking, mobile banking and other available methods.
