Star Awards Top 10 Male 2023
The 28th edition of the Star Awards 2023, a prestigious television award ceremony, celebrated the best of Singaporean television programs aired between January and December 2022. This year, the Star Awards 2023 aimed to be the biggest celebration of local Chinese entertainment industry talent and content in Singapore, redefining the event as a star-studded concert. The event’s theme, “Beyond | Celebrations,” promised an exciting night of glitz and entertainment, featuring the region’s top performers. The ceremony took place at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore on April 9th, 2023.
During the previous year’s ceremony, All-Time Favorite Artiste Felicia Chin and Rebecca Lim were awarded their tenth Top 10 Most Favorite Artiste awards, with Rebecca Lim becoming the ninth celebrity to receive the Top 10 honor for ten consecutive years.
The nominees for professional categories were announced on February 15th, 2023, on Me Watch’s official website. The show and red carpet will be broadcast on several channels, including Channel 8, Mediacorp Channel U, mewatch, Mediacorp Entertainment YouTube, Astro AEC, and Astro GO Channel 302. The walk-of-fame will air from 5 pm until 6.30 pm, and the ceremony will follow from 7 pm until 10 pm, with backstage commentary on mewatch and Mediacorp Entertainment YouTube from 3.30 pm until 10.30 pm.
The ceremony will be repeated on April 16th, 2023, from 2 pm until 6.30 pm on Channel 8. The event will have an international host, Taiwanese singer Matilda Tao, and Lee Teng, who will be collaborating as the hosts of the ceremony. Lee Teng will host the event for the third time, having previously hosted the 2016 and 2017 ceremonies.
