Resident Evil 4 Courtyard flag Tower Lever locations

You have to find and use the Tower Levers flag in Resident Evil 4 to open the door on your way to the ballroom during Chapter 9.

It’s not as simple as it seems, however, as you’ll have to navigate through a maze full of enemies to find the three levers to lower the flags.

To help you get back on your journey to the ballroom, we’ve detailed the three flagged Tower Lever locations in Resident Evil 4 and how to get to them in the maze.

Please note that this is a guide for the remake of Resident Evil 4, so locations or puzzles may not be the same in the original version.

Resident Evil 4 Flag Tower Lever Location 1

The first Tower Lever flag in Resident Evil 4 is the easiest to reach, as it is right in the middle of the maze, under the steps with the flags on top.

Simply climb the tower and pull the lever to lower the first flag in the yard.

Resident Evil 4 Flag Tower Lever Location 2

Although the second Tower Lever flag is located in the southeast corner of the maze, you can only reach it by starting along the northern path of the maze, then moving east and then south to the tower.

There will be many enemy dogs on your way, so be careful! They can jump at you from corners without warning.

Once you reach the second Tower Lever location, you’ll be able to unlock a nearby door to quickly access the center of the maze, but don’t go there just yet! You still have to pull the lever on the third flag tower.

Our Resident Evil 4 walkthrough can help you through the village with guides on the Big and Little Cave Shrine puzzle solutions, the Church dial puzzle, and the Del Lago, El Gigante, and Mendez bosses. When you reach the castle, you’ll need to tackle the correct timing puzzles of the Treasure Sword, the Four Slotted Wall, the Dining Room Bell, and the Grandfather Clock, along with the Garrador Dungeon, Two Giants, and Ramon Salazar’s bosses. The island is next, and there are still puzzles with calibration puzzles, keycard locations, and a hidden wrench, along with final bosses Krauser and Sadler.

Resident Evil 4 Flag Tower Lever Location 3

The third Tower Lever flag is only accessible from the southwest corner of the maze.

Once there, have Ashley hold the switch in the corner so Leon can go through the door on the other side and climb the steps leading to the final flag, Tower Lever.

The three flags will then be displayed and the door will lift, allowing you to continue your journey towards the castle ballroom. Before that, however, some enemies will try to take Ashley away, so be sure to run up to her icon and shoot the enemy carrying her before she leaves the area.
