However, it’s important to note that World of Wonders is a season-long special research quest, meaning its challenges will be released in sets throughout the current season of Pokémon Go, aka World of Wonders. .
Poipole is the only Ultra Beast that can evolve, becoming Naganadel after doing so. However, as of this writing, you currently cannot evolve Poipole in Pokémon Go. Hopefully we’ll see the arrival of Naganadel as more of World of Wonders is released.

Steps of the ‘World of Wonders’ mission: How to get Poipole in Pokémon Go
World of Wonders launched in Pokémon Go on Friday, March 1, and is a season-long special research quest that takes place during, you guessed it, the World of Wonders season.
You must play Pokémon Go at least once before 9:59 am (local time) on Saturday, June 1, 2024 to unlock the World of Wonders quest. Once you have done it, you can complete it whenever you want since there is no deadline.
It’s also important to remember that as a season-long quest, World of Wonders quest steps will be released gradually throughout the main season. This means that you cannot fully complete this quest at the time of writing this article, but you will be able to do so at the end of this season. We will update this page every time a new set of quest steps is released, so keep an eye on this page.
Below you will find all the World of Wonders quest steps that have been published so far in Pokémon Go. Just beware of spoilers!

- Catch 20 Pokémon – 10 Poké Balls
- Spin 10 PokéStops – 7 Pineapple Berries

The World of Wonders season has arrived in Pokémon Go, giving you the chance to catch Poipole. Don’t forget to try Routes, Gift Exchange, and Party Play while you hunt for rare Pokémon, battle in Go Battle League, or compete in PokéStop Showcases.
Poipole and Naganadel evolution: Can Poipole evolve in Pokémon Go?
As of this writing, Poipole cannot evolve into Naganadel in Pokémon Go. Hopefully we’ll see this feature added as part of the World of Wonders quest in the coming months similar to how the Cosmog evolutions were introduced. While we wait, you might want to start stockpiling rare candies, as evolving Poipole can cost a lot of candies.

Interestingly, Poipole is the only Ultra Beast that has the ability to evolve. When it does, Poipole goes from being a simple Poison-type to a dual Poison and Dragon-type Pokémon, which is a pretty deadly combination. This type means that Naganadel has an advantage against Fairy-type Pokémon, which can deal excellent damage to Dragon-type Pokémon, as these Pokémon are weak to Poison-type Pokémon.
