How to catch Tauros in Pokémon Go

Typically, Tauros is a regional exclusive in North America, where it will breed in the wild.

However, since its debut in 2016 it has appeared in several events, so other players have had access in their own region.

One such opportunity is during the Tour Kanto event in February 2021, in which players must capture all 150 Pokémon over a span of eight days.

During this event, Tauros, along with other Kanto exclusives Farfetch’d, Mr Mime, and Kangaskhan, appear in Raids on the day of the main event, Saturday, February 20.

At the time of writing, this is the only way to get Tauros before the Raid Collection Challenge deadline on February 28, 2021, so be sure to prioritize capturing it the day before the opportunity disappears.

Tauros is currently appearing in raids in North America until Monday, March 1 at 8am (local time). This means that if you are lucky enough to have a friend who lives in this region and a Remote Raid pass, then they will be able to invite you to a Tauros raid.

Trainers, Mr. Mime, Kangaskhan, Farfetch’d, and Tauros now appear in raids in their respective regions! They will leave on March 1 at 8 am local time.
