How the Hoopa Arrival collection challenge works in Pokémon Go

The Hoopa Arrival Collection Challenge, along with other event bonuses, will only be available on Sunday, September 5 from 11am to 5pm (local time).

Like previous collection challenges, you must obtain a specific list of Pokémon by catching them or another specific method, such as evolution, to complete this challenge. After doing so, you will receive the Collection Challenge rewards and they will be added to your Elite Collector medal.

Collection Challenges are found on the “Today’s View” screen, accessed by pressing the Field Research button (the little binoculars) in the bottom right corner of the screen. You may need to scroll left if you have previously been looking at the Field Research or Special Research screen.

When you catch a Pokémon in the Collection Challenge rooster, it will be marked on this list, helping you keep track of which creatures you’re missing.

As you catch the required Pokémon, they will be marked in your Collection Challenge.

Have fun during Hoopa’s arrival and complete the next stages of Misunderstood Mischief!
