Modern Warfare's Nikto explained: How to get the missing Operator

Nikto from Modern Warfare is a new operator introduced alongside Season 1 of Modern Warfare.

Nikto, along with Mara, leads the season thanks to a cinematic when players start the game once Season 1 arrives.

However, unlike Mara, who unlocks as soon as you purchase the Season 1 Battle Pass, Nikto is missing when you navigate all the levels.

Simply put, Nikto is not in Modern Warfare right now, but he will be available at some point during the course of Season 1.

How to get Nikto in Modern Warfare explained

Nikto is a Loyalty operator, who is at the bottom of the ‘Spetsnaz’ group.

The game will tell you that to unlock Nikto, you must “Unlock it by purchasing Operator in the Store.”

The Shop, if you haven’t found it yet, is at the bottom of the Multiplayer menu. However, if you check each entry, you will notice that Nikto is not there.

At the time of writing, Nikto is not available in Modern Warfare. However, he will eventually be available in the Store later sometime this season.

This is further confirmed in a blog post from Activision, which reads: “Look out for a multitude of bundles on sale in the Store throughout the first season. These bundles will include the other new Nikto Operator, new watches like the ‘Tomagunchi’ . , a variety of operator designs and weapon blueprints such as the Area 51 submachine gun blueprint.”

So from now on, it’s a matter of waiting until Nikto appears.

Another point worth clarifying with the wording regarding its availability: Nikto will not be unlocked if you purchase any Store Operator.

Although new Store items seem to come and go regularly, Nikto won’t appear if you start purchasing them as it’s simply not available at the time of writing, so it’s a matter of waiting until Activision hits the button.
