Miss America 2023
Miss America 2023 is the 72nd edition of the prestigious Miss America competition. The contest will be held the week of September 29, 2023 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. Morgan Romano, the current Miss America from North Carolina, will present the award to the winner. The new Miss America will also have the opportunity to represent the United States in the 2023 Miss Universe competition.
What makes this year special is that this is the first Miss America competition under the Thailand-based JKN Global Group. They acquired the Miss Universe Organization from WME/IMG on October 26, 2022. With this change, and the beautiful Grand Sierra Resort as the venue, Miss America 2023 is expected to be a compelling and important event in the pageant world.
