IPL 2023 Playoffs: The Indian Premier League playoffs have begun and as expected, Chennai Super Kings have already booked a place in the final. CSK qualified for the IPL final for a record 10th time after beating league points table leaders Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 1. But it remains to be seen which team will take on CSK in the final match.
The second playoff match, the knockout match between Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians will be played on May 24, with the winner taking on Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 2 on May 26. There are still three teams that can qualify for the IPL finals. Will we see another classic clash between CSK and MI or will newcomers LSG and GT get another chance to lift the IPL trophy?
LSG have performed remarkably in the league stage and reach the Playoffs under the mentorship of Gautam Gambhir. They also made it to the IPL 2022 playoffs. On the other hand, there is the Mumbai Indians, who have won five IPL titles in six final appearances. They start out as the underdogs and end up stealing the trophy. Schedules, place and draw for LSG vs MI
The much-awaited knockout match between Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians will begin promptly at 7:30 pm (IST) on May 24, 2023. The game will take place at the Chepauk/MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
The Qualifier 2 and the final of IPL 2023 will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
LSG and MI have everything at stake and the loser will not have another chance to qualify for the final. So expect fireworks from the game.
