Longchamp Event Research Tasks are a series of limited-time challenges in Pokémon Go that were launched to celebrate the collaboration between Longchamp and Pokémon Go.
Throughout this event you will be able to collect and complete a series of exclusive field research tasks and capture a variety of new costumed Pokémon.
These tasks can be found by spinning PokéStops, along with the current list of monthly research tasks, which are currently available. If you’re looking for a specific task, you may need to visit several PokéStops.

Rewards for research tasks from the Longchamp ‘fashion’ event in Pokémon Go
Below you can find the exclusive Field Research tasks and rewards that will only be available during the Longchamp event in Pokémon Go. Although these individual tasks will only be available during the event, each can be completed after the event ends if you saved the task.
Longchamp Event Research Task List:
- Spin 3 rewards from PokéStops or Gyms: Encounter Smoochum with a bow
- Reward for hatching an egg: encounter with Smoochum with a bow
- Reward for taking 3 snapshots: x1 Silver Pineapple Berry
- Battle in a raid reward: x8 Poké Balls

The dates of the Longchamp ‘fashion’ event and the end time of the event in Pokémon are explained
The Longchamp event in Pokémon will run from Friday, October 2 to Thursday, October 8 and will end at the following time:
- UK – 6am (BST)
- Europe – 7 am (CEST)
- US East Coast: 1 am (EDT)
- US West Coast – 10 pm (PDT)

The Season of Adventure Abundance is here! The Halloween event has returned, bringing with it Greavard and Houndstone. Party Play, Pokémon Go’s multiplayer feature, is here, along with the Welcome Party quest. You can also work on the Timed Investigation: Master Ball mission and compete in Go Battle League. Be sure to compete in Shadow Raids, complete routes, use Daily Adventure Incense for a chance to encounter Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. This incense can also give you encounters with other rare Pokémon in Pokémon Go.

Since the Longchamp event in Pokémon Go is fashion-inspired, it includes the release of four new costumed Pokémon, and yes, they’re all wearing some kind of hat. Hurrah…
You can hatch a Smoochum with a bow from 7km eggs, while Croagunk with backwards caps will appear when you take photos using Go Snapshot. You can also encounter these capped Croagunks in the wild.
Meanwhile, in raids, you can fight Kirlia, who will know the Draining Kiss move, and Shinx, both of whom will wear top hats.
Croagunk, Smoochum, Kirlia and Shinx join the ranks of costumed Pokémon.
Your Pokémon Go avatar hasn’t been left out of fashion week either, since, in the store, you can collect a free Longchamp-inspired avatar item.
Finally, a number of Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild during the Longchamp event.
These Pokémon are:
- mareep
- Skitty
- rosalia
- criketot
- Croagunk with a backwards cap
- bombing
- cotton
- Minccino
- droplet
You might even catch a shiny Kricketot during the Longchamp event.
