How to get Torkoal, Tropius and Relicanth during Go Tour Hoenn in Pokémon Go
Catching Torkoal, Tropius, and Relicanth during the Go Tour Hoenn event is free for all trainers as part of the Gen 3 festivities. This is a particularly welcome addition, as they are generally regionally exclusive Pokémon! This makes it much more difficult to add them to your Pokédex unless you live in the country where they are located.
However, instead of finding them in the wild or in raids, you must hatch 10km eggs to obtain Torkoal, Tropius, and Relicanth during the Go Tour Hoenn event in Pokémon Go. It is important to note that these should be 10km eggs that you received by spinning PokéStops during the duration of the Go Tour Hoenn. Otherwise, you will be able to hatch Pokémon from a different selection egg pool that does not contain these three.
Go Tour: The Hoenn Global event will take place from Saturday, February 25 to Sunday, February 26 between 10 am and 6 pm (local time) on both days.
The Season of Adventure Abundance is here! Its first event is A Paldean Adventure, which sees the true launch of Gen 9 and the special research mission A Paldean Adventure. You can also work on the Timed Investigation: Master Ball mission and compete in Go Battle League. Since there’s no way to guarantee that Torkoal, Tropius, and Relicanth will hatch for every 10km egg during the Hoenn event, we suggest stocking up on as many 10km eggs as you can if you haven’t added any to your Gen 3 Pokédex yet. As we mentioned above, as long as you received the egg during the event, you can still hatch a Torkoal, Tropius, or Relicanth from these specific 10km eggs after Go Tour Hoenn ends.
Since Torkoal, Tropius, and Relicanth cannot evolve, you only need to create one to fully complete their related Pokédex entries.
However, since both are regionally exclusive Pokémon, it’s a good idea to catch a couple to trade with your friends who may not have participated in the event or for future trades. After all, regional exclusive Pokémon are always a good trading currency.
