How to get orichalcum in Final Fantasy 16

To get Orichalcum in Final Fantasy 16 you have to complete:

You earn one Orichalcum for completing each of these activities, for a total of five Orichalcum available during a normal game.

Under new management II

As long as you’ve completed the first part of the quest line, the ‘Under New Management II’ side quest will be available for Isabelle to pick up at The Veil in Sanbreque during the ‘Return to the Source’ main quest.

This is a fairly easy quest, but it’s not available until late game, so you might want to go find some Orichalcum.

The Hunt for the Destroyer of Worlds (Atlas)

The Breaker of Worlds Hunt is actually called Atlas and appears on the quest board after completing the main quest ‘Into the Darkness’.

The Breaker of Worlds is located east of Cressida in the province of Rosaria, which is south of The Broken Hilt and east of Martha’s Rest. Fast travel to Eastpool and then head south for the faster route.

Ruin Awakening Hunt (Svarog)

Ruin Reawakened, also known as Svarog, appears on the hunt board after completing the main quest ‘Fire in the Sky’.

Once you’ve unlocked it, Ruin Reawakened is located in the southern corner of Mornebrume in Sanbreque, which is south of Glorieuse and east of Norvent Valley. Fast travel to the Caer Norvent Glorieuse Gate Obelisk and then head south to take the fastest route.

The three-headed terror hunt (Gorgimera)

The Tricephalic Terror, also known as the Gorgimera, appears on the hunt board during the main quest ‘Across the Narrow’.

Once you’ve unlocked it, The Tricephalic Terror is located in the western Velkroy desert area in the Dhalmekian Republic, which is north of The Dalimil Inn. You can fast travel to the Velkroy Desert or the Dalimil Inn Obelisks for the fastest routes to the Three-Headed Terror, as it is located in the middle of them.

The Hunt for the Masterless Marauder (King Behemoth)

The Masterless Marauder, also known as the Behemoth King, appears on the hunting board after completing the “Nobody’s Tool” side quest, which becomes available during the “Return to the Origin” main quest.

Once unlocked, the Masterless Marauder is found in the north of Vidargraes in Waloed, near the obelisk. Fast travel to the nearby Vidargraes Obelisk to take the fastest route to The Masterless Marauder.

Uses of Orichalcum in Final Fantasy 16

There are three pieces of equipment you need to use Orichalcum to craft in Final Fantasy 16:

  • Ouroboros Belt
  • The Bracelets of the Children of Ouroboros
  • Gotterdammerung Sword

The Blueprints for the Belt of Ouroboros and the Sons of Ouroboros Bracelet are obtained by completing the side quest ‘Blacksmith’s Blues III’, and the Blueprint for Gotterdammerung is rewarded by completing the follow-up quest ‘Blacksmith’s Blues IV’.
