Team Star Fire Crew Base Location in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

You can find the Team Star Fire Crew base in both Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, just north of Artazon in the Eastern Province location (Area 1). The entrance with the Grunts guarding it is marked with a red fire icon on your map.

To quickly find the Fire Base, fly to the Pokémon Center northeast of Artazon and then follow the main path that will take you to the base.

When you get close enough to the entrance to Schedar Squadron’s base after a scene plays out, you’ll automatically talk to a Grunts outside and enter a battle with them, so it’s a good idea to make sure your Pokémon are healed. before heading to the base.

Pokémon Grunt from Schedar Squadron outside Team Star’s Team Fire base in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

The Grunt outside the Star Fire Crew base in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will fight a level 25 Houndour, which is a dual Fire and Dark type, so make sure you have a Water, Ground, Rock, or Fighting type in the first slot . of your team.

We use Paldean Wooper’s Clodsire evolution at level 28 to defeat his Houndour quickly.

Once you defeat the Schedar Squad Grunt’s Houndour, you’ll earn 1,300 prize money and gain access to the Fire Crew base.

However, before ringing the bell to enter Team Star’s Fire base, make sure the first three Pokémon on your team are fully healed, as you’ll only be able to use them in the next challenge.

How to complete Star Barrage on Team Star’s Fire Crew base in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

To clear Team Star’s Fire base, you must defeat 30 of their Pokémon in 10 minutes during a ‘Star Barrage’ and then battle the Fire Crew’s leader, Mela.

You’ll use the Let’s Go feature to take on Star Barrage, so press ‘R’ to send out your Pokémon when you encounter groups of enemies. You can continue to press ‘R’ to summon more Pokémon and move them between areas when you encounter more enemies.

During the Fire Crew’s Star Barrage challenge, you will face the following Pokémon:

  • houndor
  • number
  • grow
  • little
  • Torkoal
  • Charcadet

While we recommend using Water, Ground, or Rock types (as Fire types are weak against them) to prepare for the upcoming boss fight, virtually any Pokémon with a high enough level will be able to defeat 30 of these Pokémon in a span of time. Few minutes.

Just make sure you don’t use Bug, Steel, Grass, or Ice types, as they are vulnerable to Fire’s moves.

We used a lineup of Clodsire, Pawmo, and Flittle, all at level 28, and were able to beat the Fire Crew’s Star Barrage challenge in three minutes.

If you notice that your Pokémon is low on health during a Star Barrage, you can return to Clive and he will heal your party for you. However, if one of them faints, you can help them recover HP by using one of the vending machines in the base.

If you’re too low level or have accidentally chosen the wrong types for your party, you can press ‘Y’ to give up for now and come back later to try Star Barrage again whenever you want.

How to beat Mela in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Once you complete Star Barrage at the Fire Crew base, you will have to face their leader, Mela, in a battle.

Mela will use two Pokémon:

  • Torkoal – Level 27
  • Revavroom (Schedar Starmobile) – Level 26

Paldean Wooper and its evolutions are effective against Torkoal, Mela’s first Pokémon, as it is a dual Poison and Ground type, so it can use Super Effective Ground moves like Mud Shot. Other good Ground, Water, or Rock-type Pokémon can also be effective against Torkoal.

Although Revavroom is usually a dual-type Steel and Poison, the Schedar Starmobile variant Revavroom shares the same weaknesses in Torkoal, as its type is specific to this Fire Crew’s base. Therefore, Paldean Wooper and the evolutions of it, and other water, ground, and rock types, will also be effective in defeating Mela’s Schedar Starmobile Revavroom.

We also recommend bringing plenty of potions and burn cures to take on the Schedar Starmobile Revavroom, as its move Blazing Torque is very powerful.

Once you’ve defeated Torkoal and Schedar Starmobile, you’ll have successfully defeated Mela and cleared Team Star’s Fire Crew base.

In addition to receiving the Mela Team Star Badge and progressing through the Starfall Street story, you’ll earn the following rewards:

That’s another Team Star Crew base, so why not take on Giacomo, Atticus, Ortega or Eri next? Or maybe you want to continue with Victory Road or Path of Legends? The world is your cloister!
