According to datamines researched by Pandras96 on reddit, the maximum level cap for Harry Potter Wizards Unite is level 60.
This is unlike other Niantic games, for example Pokémon Go’s maximum level cap is 40, while Ingress Prime allows players to prestige and reset their progress to the beginning once finished.
With the amount of time it took to reach the cap in those games, it’s understandable that it takes some time for players to reach level 60 in Harry Potter Wizards Unite.
