The Halo Infinite Fracture Tenrai event is a limited-time event that appears multiple times throughout Season 1. During this period, you will be able to play a new limited-time mode and progress through the Fracture: Tenrai event pass.
How the Halo: Infinite Fracture: Tenrai event and challenges work
The Fracture: Tenrai event has its own event pass that you can view in the same area as the season-long battle pass and your weekly challenges.
To progress through the levels of Fracture: Tenrai, you must complete Fracture: Tenrai challenges, such as winning a kill. These are added to your weekly challenge pool and are distinguished by a red stripe.
If you can’t see any ‘red’ challenges for Fracture: Tenrai, it’s likely in the ‘next’ set of weekly challenges. Press the Y button on the “active” weekly challenges to see what challenges remain. When you have completed one of the “assets”, an “upcoming” challenge will appear below.
There are a total of 10 Fracture: Tenrai event challenges to complete during the week, randomly assigned from a pool of possible challenges, allowing you to unlock 10 levels. (This was up from seven in the event’s debut week.) With 30 levels in total to complete, this means you have to participate in several weeks to complete the event pass in its entirety.
Although you can’t purchase free event pass levels, you can use Challenge Swaps if you’re struggling with a particular challenge.
With 10 challenges appearing each time, you theoretically need to participate in three weeks to fully complete the event pass. This gives you a certain degree of flexibility, but it also means that you need to make significant progress on the appearance of each event to get everything.
Although developer 343 has increased the number of Tenrai challenges from 7 to 10, among the limited number of levels you can complete each time the Fracture: Tenrai event is active and you must complete regular weekly challenges for the Fracture: Tenrai event to appear . challenge every time, it’s a slow system that feels routine and requires you to register during the earlier dates if you want to complete the pass.

Fracture: Tenrai Event Pass Tiers and Skins – How to Get Yoroi ‘Samurai’ Armor in Halo Infinite
To unlock the full Yoroi armor set, you must progress through the levels of the Fracture: Tenrai event pass, which has 30 levels in total, giving you a number of associated cosmetics and ways to customize your armor set.
Fortunately, the “core” of the armor unlocks fairly early at level 5, meaning you can get the basics of the set in a week of play.

As a reminder, although the event (and therefore the armor) is free for all players, Fracture: Tenrai levels only exist when the event is active, which is scheduled to last one week at a time. Think of it similarly to how Destiny handles Iron Banner, which allows her to continue the event-specific quest every time she returns for a season.
If you don’t unlock all the levels during the first week, it will return six times during the first season, which will conclude in May 2021.
