Anime is a common animation style in Japanese films and series.

Initially, anime films were aimed at the Japanese market, so they encompassed rich cultural references unique to Japan.

The most commonly seen big eyes of anime characters symbolize the multifaceted “windows to the soul.” in Japan.

Although much of the genre is aimed at children, such as shonen, shoujo, which literally means “young boys” and “young girls.” While there are a large number of Japanese genres and anime films marked by adult themes and themes such as Seinen, which is full of action, science fiction and war, or Josei, which targets girls entering adulthood and consists of stories beyond the schoolyard and many more.

In 1956 modern anime began and found a place in people’s hearts in 1961.

Osamu Tezuka’s Mushi Productions is an important modern figure in manga. Tezuka’s dense style in the novelistic style of Japanese comics contributed greatly to the anime’s aesthetic.

Miyazaki Hayao’s Princess Mononoke was made in 1997 and can be considered the modern equivalent of the popular epic adventures once seen in the works of Japanese masters such as Mizoguchi Kenji and Kurosawa Akira.

As soon as the 21st century began, anime exploded and gained international popularity when it was already classic, series like Pokémon began airing and children chanted the English-dubbed catchphrase “Gotta Catch ‘Em All!” everywhere.

And when films like Miyazaki’s Spirited Away (2002) became winners of an Academy Award for best animated feature film.

  • Marvel collaborated with the Attack on Titan manga in 2014, and the comic’s title is “Attack on Avengers” featuring Spider-Man, Captain America, Hulk, and more while The Colossal Titan is the main antagonist.
