The Fontaine Shrine of the Depths is a bit different than the Shrines of other nations in Genshin Impact, as they can be found both underwater and on land.
While there are plenty of areas to explore in Justice Nation that offer useful rewards, some of the easiest treasures come from unlocking your Shrines with the Fontaine Shrine of The Depth Keys, even the submarines.

All Genshin Impact Fontaine Shrine of the Depths locations
There are four Fontaine Shrines of the Depths to find so far in Genshin Impact:
- At the bottom of the Elton Trench, between the Elynas and Poisson (underwater) areas.
- Near the top of a western hill in Elynas, west of the Elynas Statue of the Seven.
- North of Fontaine Court, in an orchard under the cliffs.
- In the hills north of the Marcotte station.

Note that these are just all of the Fontaine Shrine locations added so far, as more will be added when future Fontaine areas debut in later patches. We will update the map above when they are added.

Location 1 of the Shrine of the Depths of Genshin Impact Fontaine
The first Fontaine Shrine of the Depths is located underwater at the bottom of the Elton Trench, which lies between the Elynas and Poisson areas of southern Fontaine. It is in the deepest area surrounded by large green aquatic plants.

Location 2 of the Shrine of the Depths of Genshin Impact Fontaine
This second Fontaine Shrine of the Depths is located near the top of a hill in the western section of Elynas in the southwestern area of Fontaine. Follow the main path directly west of the Statue of the Seven of Elynas to find it on top of a small cliff on the left side.

Location 3 of the Shrine of the Depths of Genshin Impact Fontaine
The third Shrine of the Fontaine Depths is located directly north of the town of Court of Fontaine, in the Northern Fontaine area. Since it’s out of town, we found it easier to use the underwater Teleport Waypoint just east of the Court of Fontaine and then head north. The Sanctuary is at the bottom of an orchard, near the cliffs.

Location 4 of the Shrine of the Depths of Genshin Impact Fontaine
This fourth Fontaine Shrine of the Depths is located on top of the hills north of Marcotte Station, which is in the northeast area of Fontaine. You can swim east from the third Shrine location if you’re already there. If not, and you’ve never been to Marcotte station, the easiest way to get there is by taking the Navia line aquabus from the third floor of The Court of Fontaine. Then just jump off and glide north until you see the blue glow from the Sanctuary.

How to get the keys to Fontaine’s Shrine of the Depths in Genshin Impact
To get the keys to Fontaine’s Shrine of the Depths in Genshin Impact, you need to claim rewards from Fontaine’s Statues of the Seven and Lucine’s Fountain.
Fontaine Keys are rewarded when you reach certain level milestones in Statues of the Seven, including the second level. You can level up the statues by offering Hydroculus to any of the Fontaines. Hydroculus are the floating blue orbs found throughout Fontaine, even underwater.

The Lucine Fountain is located just outside the Opera Epiclese on the eastern side of Fontaine. To get the Shrine of the Depths keys from the fountain, you need to give him Hydro Sigils, which are obtained by opening chests in Fontaine and offering Hydroculus to the Statues of the Seven. You get a unique key for reaching levels 8, 18, 28 and 38 of Lucine’s Fountain.
