Fortnite Water Tower, Ranger Tower and Air Traffic Control Tower locations

Finding the locations of the Water Tower, Ranger Tower, and Air Traffic Control Tower is the goal of one of Fortnite’s many weekly challenges.

Completing it will give you additional XP to help you get many Season 7 rewards.

If you’re just getting started, our Fortnite Battle Royale tips and tricks can give you some helpful hints.

Please note that this particular challenge can no longer be completed. What’s new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection, and Eren Jaeger skin. It’s a good idea to know how to get XP quickly in Fortnite.

Fortnite Water Tower, Ranger Tower, and Air Traffic Control Tower locations at a glance

For the Week 5 challenges, you have the following task, which unlocks in sequence:

  • Stage 1: Dance on top of a water tower
  • Stage 2: Dance on top of a ranger tower.
  • Stage 3: Dance on top of an air traffic control tower

Here are the locations of the Water Tower, Ranger Tower, and Air Traffic Control Tower at a glance:

First, you don’t have to worry about whether or not this needs to be completed in one match, obviously, since unlike most other challenges, you only need to do it once.

Secondly, you may be wondering how to dance if you are new to the game. To do this, open the emote wheel (D-Pad on console or press B on PC) and then select an emote that makes your character dance. A popup will appear on your screen when you’ve successfully danced on one, so you’ll know when it works!

Here are their locations in more detail…

Fortnite Water Tower Location

You’ll find it in the southeast of Retail Row: a thin, black tower right in the corner.

You’ll want to land on it from a glider, so do it from the start of a game or from a plane.

Land on top and dance and in the next match, prepare for the Ranger Tower location.

Fortnite Ranger Tower Location

You’ll know the location of the Ranger Tower as soon as you think about it: it’s the elevated cabin in the south of Lonely Lodge.

Go straight up to the roof (the lower level is useless) and dance to unlock this part of the challenge. Although landing on it from the beginning of the game is easier, it is also possible to build or use a grappling gun, as you can climb the stairs most of the way.

Next is the third and final step: the location of the Air Traffic Control Tower.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is here! To help you get started with this heist-themed season, we have guides on how to alert a security camera, protect data from Forecast Towers, and destroy weakened security walls or doors. There’s also a new Victory Umbrella! In the meantime, learn what the best weapons are, the current boosts, how to get XP quickly, how to use the best PC builds, and earn a crown of victory.

Fortnite Air Traffic Control Tower Location

A quick look at the map shows that this can only be in one location: Frosty Flights. You are looking for the freestanding tower with a satellite dish on top:

As with the Ranger Tower, the fact that you can climb most of the way with stairs means that it is possible to build or use the grappling gun. That said, if you land there at the start of the match, or from a plane, do it; It means you can walk in, dance, and walk away before anyone sees you.

Already done? There are plenty of other challenges to take on this week, so keep playing!
