Fortnite Reboot Van locations and how Fortnite respawns work

Fortnite Reboot Vans allows you to revive your fallen teammates, something you couldn’t do in the Battle Royale mode when it was first released.

There are a few steps to the process, which involve collecting a reset card and then finding the location of a reset van, but that means you won’t be out of the fight when all your health is gone.

If you’re just getting started, our Fortnite Battle Royale tips and tricks can give you some helpful hints.

Fortnite Reboot Van Locations

Fortnite reset vans can be found in virtually every named location on the Fortnite map. Reboot Van locations are as follows:

Remember that Reboot Vans appear in Duo and Squad modes, and not in Solos or LTM with active respawn, so if you don’t see them, remember which mode you’re playing!

Fortnite Reboot Vans and respawn explained

Now that we know the Fortnite Reboot Van locations, how exactly do they work? Here is what you need to do:

  1. When you are in a squad and are eliminated from the game, you will generate a reset card.
  2. A teammate must collect this reset card within 90 seconds; otherwise it will disappear.
  3. Once you have the Reboot Card in your possession, take it to a Reboot Van location.

Of course, there’s more to Reboot Vans than that – here’s what you need to know about Reboot Vans:

  • Once you have a Reboot Card, any member of your squad can use a Reboot Van to revive them; It does not have to be the person who picked up the reset card.
  • If you have multiple reset cards, a single use of the reset van will revive them all at once, as seen here:

  • It takes 10 seconds to use a reset van, so first make sure there are no enemies nearby – you’ll be very exposed!
  • Once a Reboot Van has been used, it will be idle for 120 seconds.
  • Players re-entering a match from a reset van will have 100 health, a regular pistol, some light ammo, and wood. All your possessions are dropped upon elimination, remember?
  • Reboot Vans will appear in Duo and Squad modes, and not in Solos or LTM with active respawn.

Hopefully, Reboot Vans will give you extra incentive to keep watching once you’re eliminated from a match. Remember that you are not depressed yet!
