The Predator is the latest bounty hunter to appear in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5.
Defeating the Predator will unlock the new Predator skin, so you can hunt other players in style.
First, however, you need to know the Predator’s location and how to defeat it or you could find yourself very dead, very quickly.

If you want to fight the Predator in Fortnite, you need to head to the Stealthy Stronghold in the northern part of the Fortnite map.

Stealthy Stronghold is near the lighthouse, which means it is north of Pleasant Park and east of Coral Castle. It’s a good idea to land on the wall surrounding the fortress or just inside the walls, because it will help you keep an eye out for other players in this small area.
Once you’re safe in Stealthy Stronghold, don’t expect to find the Predator easily. He has a number of abilities that will help him evade you and, if you are not properly prepared, he can easily kill you.
The Predator is a roaming boss, so it can be anywhere in Stealthy Stronghold. Since this is a fairly large area, we suggest starting near the Predator’s ship, which is located in the northern part of the fortress, and then go around the base of the middle hill. If you haven’t encountered the Predator yet, go up the hill and enter the ruins.
It’s also a good idea to sneak up on any gunshots you might hear, because it could be another player fighting the Predator. Just make sure they don’t see you!

How to defeat Predator in Fortnite
The Predator is one of the most difficult bosses to appear in Fortnite so far thanks to its special abilities and high amount of health.
The Predator’s main attack is a series of claw strikes, and if you get caught in them you’ll quickly lose a lot of health. It is a good idea to keep some distance between you and the Predator to help avoid these attacks.
However, what really makes the Predator a difficult boss to defeat is that it is actually quite difficult to find thanks to its cloaking ability.
While you’ll be able to see a faint outline of the Predator’s body if you’re close enough, you can still easily miss the alien if you’re not paying enough attention. It’s a good idea to listen to the music as when the Predator is around you will notice a slight change.

The Predator will also turn his camouflage on and off at certain times, making it easier for you to attack him. When the Predator hides, be prepared for him to run to another part of the fortress; Use this pause in the fight to heal or reload your weapon, while you track the Predator.
Finally, Predator also runs faster than normal Fortnite characters and can jump higher. This means that the Predator is excellent at running away from your attacks and disappearing into the undergrowth of the fortress.

Don’t forget to keep an eye out for other players while chasing the Predator!
We recommend fighting him in squads, because if you or one of your teammates kills the Predator, then that victory will count for the entire squad; Even though you didn’t deal the killing blow, you do reap the rewards.
However, if you prefer to take on the Predator alone, we suggest putting your stealth skills to the test and approaching him after other players have already dealt him a substantial amount of damage. Hopefully, this will ensure that you’re the one to finally kill the Predator and unlock the mask.

Either way, before engaging in combat with the Predator, you’ll want to make sure you’ve gathered some healing items, upgraded your shield, and gathered a couple of higher-tier weapons.

We suggest using rapid-fire weapons, such as an assault rifle, because it will ensure you cause as much damage as possible before the Predator disappears into the jungle.
It’s also a good idea to have a selection of weapons, so you can swap them out when you need to reload your current one. Again, this will allow you to quickly damage the Predator and you will be able to reload your weapons when you are hunting it again.
Remember: the Predator is a difficult boss to defeat, so don’t be surprised if it takes a fair amount of attempts. However, once you’ve defeated him, you’ll unlock the Predator skin, and by visiting the Predator’s apartment while wearing it, you’ll be able to unlock another reward.
