Finding the golden artifacts near The Spire is one of the first challenges you can complete in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6.
This challenge sends you on a scavenger hunt around the map’s new location, The Spire, which is fitting considering this season gives you the chance to unlock Lara Croft as a skin.
Completing this challenge will reward you with 24K XP, which will help you unlock the new Battle Pass skins.

The Needle can be found in the center of the Fortnite map, where the Zero Point once floated last season.
Where to find The Spire in Fortnite.
The land directly beneath The Spire is now inhabited and consists of a variety of buildings, which is where you will find the golden artifacts.
However, it is important to note that The Spire is also home to a new type of powerful NPC characters called The Spire Guardian. These are hostile NPCs and once they have noticed you, they will start hunting you.
Spire Guardians have the ability to teleport and use gathering tools, so combined with their considerable shields and health bars, it’s best not to draw their attention. Although they have powerful weapons…

How to find the golden artifacts near The Spire in Fortnite
The three golden artifacts can be found in one of the buildings located around The Spire base in Fortnite. Don’t forget to avoid The Spire Guardians unless you’re ready to fight!
The first golden artifact can be found in the building on the north side of The Spire, at the bottom of the stairs that led to the top of The Spire.
You will have to knock down the entrance to this building.
You will have to break the wood covering the entrance to this building, but once you do, you can easily find the golden artifact inside.
The second golden artifact can be found in the middle, directly west of The Spire.
Go to the second floor of this building.
It’s located in one of the corners of the room on the middle floor, so if you’re having trouble finding it, try going down or up the stairs to make sure you’re in the right place.
The third golden artifact is located on the east side of The Spire and is one of the hardest to find.
The easiest way to find it is to land on the lowest level on the east side of The Spire, climb the small hill, and then find the building we’re looking at in the image below. If you are in an open area with market stalls, then you are in the right place.
Once inside this building, you will want to head to the market stall near the stairs at the north end of this building. Here you can find the last golden artifact next to a pot.
