Jeff Abel (Jeff Abel), born April 29, 1986, stage name Excision. He is a Canadian music producer and DJ. Excision is not only committed to music creation, but also has its own record labels Rottun Recordings and Subsidia Records. He has been active in the music industry since 2006 and released his first single “Warning” in 2007. From 2008 to 2016, he released a special remix album called “Shambhala” every third quarter. In 2017, he took it a step further, hosting his own festival, Lost Lands, where he released his remix of the year.
A great feature of Excision is his live performances. When he toured, he was known for bringing huge sound systems and massive visual displays.
Excision also created a record label called Destroid Music. When it started, Destroid released a digital album called “The Invasion”. Excision played a major role in the production of most of the tracks on the album, and has also collaborated with other artists such as Datsik, Downlink, Space Laces, Far Too Loud, Bassnectar and Ajapai.
