Destiny 2 Path of the Splicer quest steps: How to complete the weekly seasonal quest

Destiny 2 Path of the Splicer quest steps: How to complete the weekly seasonal quest

Destiny 2’s Path of the Splicer is a questline that runs during Season of the Splicer.

Similar to the Challenger Trial during the Season of the Chosen, this provides structure to the season’s new activities and features, and each week tasks you with using the Splicer Gauntlet and opening chests in Override.

Starting with step three, this quest line provides access to new Elimination quests, which must also be completed as part of the quest.

This page explains each Path of the Splicer mission step as they were released – perfect if you want to get to a specific Elimination mission or are left behind and want to catch up before the season ends.

The Season of the Depths is here along with the Into the Depths quest. You can also know how to go fishing! Don’t forget to keep an eye on the Lost Sector and King’s Fall challenge rotation schedule!

When does The Path of the Splicer quest expire?

Although Path of the Splicer is the seasonal quest for Season of the Splicer, you do not need to complete it completely before the season ends.

As long as you started Path of the Splicer while the quest was initially active, these steps, as well as all associated activities, including Nullification and Elimination quests, will remain in the game until the end of Season 15 or until the beginning of ‘ Year 5’ when the Witch Queen expansion arrives.

This is all part of Bungie’s attempts to address FOMO (fear of missing out), allowing you to continue playing previous activities for longer, even if later seasons shift their focus to new ones.
