Upgrading your Estus Flask and Bonfire through the use of Shards is important to surviving in the Kingdom of Lothric, and to help you on your way, you will find eleven Estus Shards and ten Bone Shards as you progress. Some are hidden in out-of-the-way locations and others in areas that require dispatching an enemy horde, but the detours and extra fights are worth it – having that last shot of healing power could mean the difference between success and failure. Estus Shard Locations
Firelink Shrine This one is well hidden and also requires a soul investment to access the area. Get the Tower Key for 20,000 Souls, and head to the upper right walkway of the shrine to locate the tower. Open the door and go up until you reach a bridge with a roof below. Go down and cross to the other side and you will find the Shard located in an arch.

High Lothric Wall From the Tower bonfire on the Wall, go down the stairs to the tower and down the ladder. Exit through the archway and up to the roof, and go down the ladder on the far right. Head through the archway at the bottom of the stairs, deal with the knight, and exit through the other side of the room. Follow the passage to the right into a large open room – the shard is located in the middle of the room, so smash and grab or take your time dealing with the opponents.
Foot of the High Wall After passing the first bonfire building of the Undead Settlement, you will find an open area with a large bonfire. Defeat enough enemies to give yourself some breathing room, then grab the wall fragment. base of fire
Path of Sacrifice From the Crucifixion Wood bonfire, go under the arch between the two buildings ahead and follow the path to the left. You’ll have to overcome a couple of large enemies on your way, and the fragment is hidden at the end.
Cathedral of the Depths As you climb the short flight of stairs into the cemetery from the Purification Chapel bonfire, you will pass four enemies praying around an obelisk; The fragment is found on a corpse in the base.
Farron Keep In the middle of the swampy area is a collapsed tower next to a small fire, and next to the base of the tower is a corpse holding a shard.
Carthus Catacombs From the Demon Ruins bonfire, go down the stairs. Turn right, head to the end of the room, turn left into the hallway, and jump across the gap at the end to find another fragment.
Irithyll Dungeon From the Dungeon bonfire, go down the hallway and turn right. If you have already collected the keys from the jailer, you can open the door at the end and go down to the platform below, but if you have not collected them yet you will have to take the long way: cross the narrow bridge to the Left, turn right On the other side, go through the collapsed cell, go down the stairs, turn left and follow the path until you end up outside. Whichever route you took to get here, the next fragment is contained in the mimicry to the right as you pass through the archway in front of you.
Anor Londo This fragment can be found inside the cathedral located between the bonfire and the Aldrich boss fight, in a chest in front of the lever you use to open the main doors.
Lothric Castle After defeating the Dancer of the Boreal Valley, go up the stairs and turn left. He fights the knight at the end of the stone path and takes the elevator. He jumps to the ledge about halfway up and head right to find another fragment.
Great Archives From the Great Archives bonfire, go up to the roof and head to the large vaulted ceiling. Turn right just before the stairs on the roof and follow it until you find a gap between two stone pillars – the fragment is on a corpse on the balcony ahead.
