The next season of Black Ops: Cold War and Warzone is almost here – here’s everything we know so far.
Black Ops – Cold War: Warzone Season 4 is almost here: the second season of the ’80s-themed map Verdansk.

Update (June 17): We’re live! Here’s an overview of what’s been added to Season 4 so far:
Original Guide: The Black Ops – Cold War and Warzone Season 4 release date is Thursday, June 17, and based on previous seasons, you can expect release times in the following:
- UK: 7am (BST/UK)
- Europe: 08:00 (CEST / Western Europe)
- US East Coast: 2am (EST/US East Coast)
- US West Coast: 11 pm June 16 (PST/US West Coast)
Again, although it’s not confirmed, these moments are from when previous seasons were released (since the integration of Black Ops: Cold War into Warzone), and there’s no reason to think that will change with Season 4.

This means that Europe will wake up to the new season, or that those across the pond will have the option of starting late or very early in the morning. (Which we advise against: sleep is important!)
Players can download the new update early (June 16 at 5am UK in Black Ops: Cold War, or 24 hours later for Warzone players), although it’s worth leaving the console on standby mode overnight to ensure additional patches are downloaded if necessary. goes up.

What’s new in Black Ops: Cold War and Warzone Season 4?
Season 4 offers the usual set of updates to Warzone, Black Ops: Cold War multiplayer, and zombies, as well as new weapons and operators in both games.
This includes:
- In Warzone there are satellite crash sites, which are new points of interest across the map.
- Ground Fall seasonal event in Black Ops: Cold War and Warzone, which ties into the above locations and other unique cosmetic rewards and blueprints.
- The new Dirt Bike vehicle, a new Gulag Hijacked map and the preview of ‘Red Doors’.
- New operators Jackal (launch), Salah (in season) and Weaver (in season).
- New weapons C58, MG 82 and Nail Gun (all launching), and OTS 9 and Mace (both in season).
- In Black Ops: Cold War, the Black Ops 2 ‘Hijacked’ maps, featuring a super yacht, return (at launch), as well as the now paintball-themed ‘Rush’ (in season).
- New Black Ops: Cold War maps ‘Collateral’ and ‘Amsterdam’ (at launch).
- New multiplayer modes One in the Chamber, Multi-team: Sat-Link (both launching) and Capture the Flag (in season).
- New Scorestreak, the Hand Cannon, which “deals lethal damage to any part of the body.”
- In Zombies, there’s the zoo outbreak region, the “Operation Splinter Outbreak” mission, and the new map “Mauer der Toten.”
