The Phylakes Dam is a slightly mysterious quest that you’ll encounter after going through a good portion of Assassin’s Creed Origins’ main story, and it offers some pretty nice rewards for completing it.

Phylakes Dam, Phylakes Locations, and How to Get the Black Hood Suit
After completing the story quest Gennadios the Phylakitai, you will have 10 Phylakes, high-level elite warriors, following you. It’s best to avoid them at first, but once you reach level 20 you can start fighting them; The Outsider patrolling Alexandria is the best place to start, and as you level up you’ll be able to take on the others.
(The paths of the Iron Bull and the Galatian meet occasionally; wait for them to separate or try to push one away if they are together; taking on both at once is foolish.)
