Kitawak Shrine location in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

The Kitawak Shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be found to the southeast of the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower. More specifically, it is in East Gerudo Mesa.

We have marked its exact location on the map below and the coordinates of the Kitawak Sanctuary are (-1529, -2929, 0321).

You will likely need cold resistance to explore this area in Tears of the Kingdom, if you go at night. You can also fuse a ruby with your shield for a quick and easy heat boost. If you go during the day, you are likely to encounter scorching heat. Fuse a sapphire with a shield to cool it down quickly.

Kitawak Shrine solution in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To solve the Kitawak Shrine, you will first need to go inside where you will see a vertical bridge. Glue the stone tile on the right onto the end of the other tile. The bridge will fall and you can walk across. Carry the stone slab with you throughout this Sanctuary.

To your left is a spinning cogwheel. This leads to a chest, which we’ll deal with first. Attach the stone slab to the gear to create a turntable. You can use this to cross over and grab the chest that contains 10 arrows.

Now, take the slab to the next bridge. Attach it to the edge of the hinged slab in front of you to drop the bridge. There is another slab to your left, which you will want to attach to the other side to create a ramp that you can run up.

Finally, we are building a catapult. Place a stone slab at the end of the one below you. Now stand at the end and shoot the yellow switch with an arrow. This will catapult you into the air and allow you to glide to the exit of the Sanctuary.
