Kamizun Shrine solution in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

As mentioned at the beginning, Kamizun Shrine has less of a puzzle focus and more of a combat focus being the sanctuary of the Beginner’s Proving Ground. That is to say, the challenge here has more to do with your ability to survive in battle than with the intelligent use of your skills.

That said, there are still plenty of strategies that can be implemented as the game tests you in combat without any of your equipment.

Upon entering, you’ll notice that all your gear and materials have been temporarily removed, though you still have access to basic abilities like Ultrahand, Fuse, etc. Instead, you’ll have to make do with what’s provided.

The area seen when you first enter the Shrine: Your entire team is temporarily removed for this Shrine challenge.

Before you get too far, to the right of the bow, you’ll see a collection of items to pick up: A set of starting equipment is available, including a wooden club, an ancient wooden shield, an ancient wooden bow, and 10 arrows.

The starting equipment set that you can pick up before entering the arena.

While that’s what you start with, it can always grow into something more with careful use of your Fuse ability.

In the arena ahead, you’ll find four Construct enemies: one will be perched on a pillar, while the other three will be on the opposite side of the room.

Even in stealth, you can see each of the Construction’s enemies: one on the pillar and three in the back.

Three of these enemies are the standard constructs you’ll have encountered in the early hours of the game, while the fourth is a stronger, more armored construct that deals greater damage.

The strategy we recommend here starts with a bit of stealth: before enemies detect you, you have a chance to reduce the waves, or at least make a dent in their collective health.

To do this, we recommend using the bow to eliminate the construct on the pillar; an accurate headshot should be enough, leaving only three enemies remaining.

Aiming the bow and arrows at the construct on the pillar.

You can continue stealthily if you haven’t been spotted yet, shooting arrows for more headshots, but if enemies spot you, a boss-like health bar will appear at the top of the screen, representing your collective health. the remaining enemies. .

As you move through this arena, you will see various objects and items that can be fused with your weapons, and if you reach the place where the first construct dropped its loot, you will also find a construct bow.

In terms of those items that can be fused, you can find a rock to the left as you enter the arena, with a spiked metal ball in front of the arena entrance.

Left: The spiked metal ball and the accompanying weapon pickups. Right: Run away after you have fused the spiked ball into a weapon.

There is also a set of Fire Fruits that you can find on the left side of the room, as well as a couple of weapons next to the aforementioned spiked ball.

This is not to mention the items dropped by the constructs you defeat.

Overall, this challenge isn’t particularly demanding compared to other combat encounters in the game, but that doesn’t mean that enemies can’t easily catch you off guard or attack you; Make sure you keep moving if you are spotted, staying well. distance between you and enemies, and make effective use of your surroundings.

Once all enemies are defeated, all of your equipment will be returned to you, allowing you to search and loot what is left to collect in the arena before exiting through the newly opened door to complete the Sanctuary.

Upon exiting, you will be rewarded not only by the usual Light of Blessing, but also by a chest in front of it; collect them and interact with the statue to complete and exit the Sanctuary.

You can open the chest before acquiring the Light of Blessing from the statue in the background. To view this content, please enable targeting cookies. Manage cookie settings
