Solving the Jonsau Shrine puzzle in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

There are three Deep Force puzzles to complete in Jonsau Shrine:

Jonsau Shrine Puzzle Solution One

When you first enter the sanctuary, you will see a pool of water with what looks like a beach ball floating in it. Above the pool is the target used at many of the Tears of the Realm shrines.

The key is to get the ball to reach the goal. To do this, use Ultrahand to place it at the bottom of the water. He will bounce and jump into the air, activating the goal. The door will open to the next room in the sanctuary.

After completing the first puzzle, you will be able to enter a corridor with a path on one side and water on the other. Use Ultrahand to find a chest in the water and take it out. This chest contains a Strong Build Bow.

Be careful as you follow this corridor to the right, as there is a soldier assembly that you will need to defeat.

Jonsau Shrine Puzzle Solution Two

In the next room, repeat the process of dunking the item to activate the goal. In this case it is a wooden board, and you will have to make sure that it is in the water vertically so that the thinnest end is the one that reaches the goal.

Jonsau Shrine Puzzle Solution Three

First, dip the ball here so that it shoots out and dislodges the platform, allowing it to fall to the water level.

Next, depending on where the ball bounced, use the Ultrahand to bring it closer to the platform. Now swim and stand on the platform.

Use Ultrahand to grab the ball and put it under the platform. When it bounces, the platform and Link will be launched into the air, allowing you to use the paraglider to reach the end of the Sanctuary.

This process can be a little complicated. Be careful, as the bouncing ball can kill you if it bounces off Link’s head! Use the vertical beam attached to the platform to make sure the ball is positioned correctly. And if you get the location right but can’t jump back in time, use Recall to try again; it’s easier than setting things up with the Ultrahand a second time.
