Impa and the Geoglyphs is a good starting main quest to find in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, as you get The Dragon’s Tears quest after completing it.
This short story section asks Link to help Impa return to her hot air balloon so she can examine a strange geoglyph from above, leading Link to find the message “Where Am I?” memory in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
To help you find it, we have the Impa and the Geoglyphs quest location detailed below, as well as a brief tour of Impa and the Geoglyphs.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Impa quest location and geoglyphs
Naturally, you might come across this quest from Impa during your first few travels across the surface of Hyrule, but if you’re not following the other main story quests, it’s easy to miss.
If you haven’t found it yet, the Impa and the Geoglyphs quest is located in New Serenne Stable in the Hyrule Field area, which is very close to the Sinakawak Shrine.

Talk to Cado in front of the stable entrance, who will inform Link that he must tell Impa about the situation with Zelda, and the Impa and the Geoglyphs quest will begin.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Walkthrough Impa and the Geoglyphs
After talking to Cado at New Serenne Stables and continuing with the quest, go talk to Impa on the nearby platform.
Impa tells Link that she wants to study the strange geoglyph that appeared near the stable, but that her hot air balloon needs to be fixed before she can see the glyph from above. Sounds like an exciting job for the hero of Hyrule!
To fix Impa’s hot air balloon, you must use Ultrahand to lift the top of the balloon off the ground below the platform, shift it to an upright position, and then attach the balloon to the bottom near Impa.

Talk to Impa after fixing the hot air balloon, and after a brief conversation, Link is now tasked with lighting a fire under the balloon to make it work. You can use a fused firearm if you have it, but there is a torch nearby that you can light at the campfire. Move the torch towards the balloon to float with Impa.

After talking to Impa in the balloon, paraglide down to the surface and head towards the head of the geoglyph, where you will find a tear. It may just look like a puddle, but after examining it, Link will experience the question “Where am I?” memory, completing Impa’s main quest and the geoglyphs.
