Pokémon Go Road to Sinnoh field research tasks, quest steps and rewards

Road to Sinnoh is our warm-up for the upcoming Go Tour: Sinnoh event in Pokémon Go. If you plan to participate in this free global event this weekend, now is the time to start catching Gen 4 Pokémon.

During the Road to Sinnoh event in Pokémon Go, you can collect event-exclusive Field Research tasks, catch Gen 4 starters in the wild, or battle a variety of Sinnoh legendaries in five-star raids.

There are also three Road to Sinnoh research missions, one free and two paid, running throughout this event. To help you complete them or decide if you are going to purchase the pay-to-play missions, we have listed all the steps and rewards for the Road to Sinnoh mission below.

Don’t forget to complete the Road to Sinnoh special research quest, as it allows you to choose between the Diamond and Pearl versions of Go Tour: Sinnoh. (Niantic really went all out for the ‘Road to Sinnoh’ title, didn’t it?)

Passage of the mission ‘Road to Sinnoh Timed Research’ in Pokémon Go

The Road to Sinnoh timed research mission will run throughout the event and will share its name until Friday, February 23 at 8 pm (local time) in Pokémon Go.

We highly recommend completing this quest before the deadline, because it has some pretty cool Pokémon encounter rewards that allow you to collect some Legendary Gen 4 Pokémon. This is great if you’re missing out on their Pokédex entries or want a chance to collect some. sweets. for these Pokémon.

‘Road to Sinnoh: Timed Investigation’ Step 1 of 1

  • Win 2 raids: encounter with Cresselia.
  • Win 4 raids: Heatran encounter.
  • Win 6 Raids: Origin Forme Giratina Encounter

It’s the Season of Eternal Journeys in Pokémon Go, so be sure to complete the Eternal Journeys quest! The Road to Sinnoh takes us to this weekend’s Go Tour: Sinnoh event, while also bringing the Masterwork Research: Glimmers of Gratitude quest. During it, take the time to try out Routes, Gift Exchange, and Party Play while you hunt for rare Pokémon, battle in Go Battle League, or compete in PokéStop Showcases.

Passage of the mission ‘Road to Sinnoh Raids’ in Pokémon Go

Road to Sinnoh: Raids is the first of two paid timed research missions that run throughout the Road to Sinnoh event in Pokémon Go.

This quest costs £4.99, $5 or the equivalent price level for your local region. It is non-refundable and cannot be purchased using PokéCoins, but can be gifted to a player with whom you are Best Friends or higher. However, if you purchase it, you must make sure to complete it before Sunday, February 25 at 8 pm (local time) or you will lose access to its rewards.

If you plan on participating in a good number of raids during the Go Tour: Sinnoh event, then you should consider purchasing this quest as it will grant you access to the following bonuses:

  • 5000 extra XP for completing raids
  • 1 additional candy when capturing a Pokémon in five-star raids
  • 2 additional Raid Passes per day when spinning Gym Photo Discs

Road to Sinnoh Field Research Tasks in Pokémon Go

You can collect event-exclusive Field Research Tasks by spinning PokéStops during the Road to Sinnoh event in Pokémon Go. These tasks can then be saved to your Field Research Collection and completed after the event is over.

These are the Road to Sinnoh field research tasks in Pokémon Go:

  • Reward for hatching an egg: 10 Poké Balls
  • Reward for hatching 2 eggs: 10 cool balls
  • Reward for hatching 3 eggs: 10 Ultra Balls or 1 Sinnoh Stone
  • Spin 10 rewards from PokéStops or Gyms: 10 Piplup, Chimchar or Turtwig candies

Everything you need to know about the Road to Sinnoh event in Pokémon Go

First things first, be sure to complete the Road to Sinnoh special research quest before Saturday, February 24, as this will allow you to decide between the Diamond and Pearl versions of the Go Tour: Sinnoh event. This is a very important decision if you plan to participate in this free global event.

The start of the Road to Sinnoh event also marks the launch of the brilliant, paid Shaymin Masterwork Research: Glimmers of Gratitude quest.

Back to the Road to Sinnoh event itself: There are three bonuses that will run throughout this event until it ends on Friday, February 23 at 10 pm (local time), and one of these bonuses will be included in the Go event Tour: Sinnoh.

The first bonus halves the hatching distance of any eggs placed in an incubator during this event. Secondly, the Remote Raid Pass limit has been increased by 10 per day until Thursday, February 22. However, from Friday, February 23 to Sunday, February 25, there will be no limit to the number of remote raids you can participate in.

Any 2km eggs collected during the Route to Sinnoh will spawn one of the following Pokémon, all of which are at the first level:

  • budew
  • jingle
  • Kindly
  • happy
  • Munchlax
  • Riolu
  • Mantyke

Riolu and Mantyke can hatch from 2 km eggs during the Route to Sinnoh.

As for the stickers, you will be able to collect Go Tour: Sinnoh themed stickers from Gifts and Spinning PokéStops between Monday, February 19 and Sunday, February 25. These stickers will also be on sale in the in-game store until Sunday, February 25 at 8 pm (local time).

Finally, there’s a range of new Sinnoh-themed clothing available in the in-game store, along with this year’s Go Tour t-shirt. You can now purchase the Diamond Clan, Pearl Clan, Team Galactic and Giratina outfit.
