The Glittering Garden event in Pokémon Go is themed for Grass- and Fairy-type Pokémon.

During this Pokémon Go event, you can collect event-exclusive Field Research tasks and complete the Glittering Garden: Timed Research quest.

Passage of the quest ‘Glittering Garden: Timed Research’ in Pokémon Go

Glittering Garden: The Timed Research can be completed during the Glittering Garden event in Pokémon Go.

Since this quest has a deadline, you must complete it before Tuesday, August 8 at 8 pm (local time) if you want to earn all the quest rewards. If you let this date pass without completing this quest, you will not be able to collect all of these rewards.

‘Bright Garden: Timed Investigation’ Step 1 of 1

  • Explore 5 km – Meeting with Petilil
  • Hatch 2 Eggs: Galarian Weezing encounter
  • Spin 25 PokéStops or Gyms – Aromatisse Encounter
  • Catch 50 Grass-type Pokémon: Alolan Exeggutor encounter
  • Earn 15 hearts with your friend – Formantis encounter

Rewards: 50 Venusaur, Beedrill, and Pinsir Mega Energy.

The Hidden Gems Season is coming to an end. Before it ends, try to finish the special research missions Fascinating Facets and Sky High. You can also complete a route and fight in Go Battle League. Be sure to compete in Shadow Raids, use Daily Adventure Incense for a chance to run into Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. This incense can also give you encounters with other rare Pokémon in Pokémon Go.

Glittering Garden Field Research Tasks in Pokémon Go

Spinning PokéStops during the Bright Garden event in Pokémon Go can result in an event-exclusive Field Research task. These tasks can be saved to your Field Research Task Collection and completed after the event is over, if desired.

Everything we know about Glittering Garden in Pokémon Go

There are four bonuses that will run during the Glittering Garden event in Pokémon Go until it ends on Tuesday, August 8 at 8pm (local time). The first two bonuses are related to your Pokémon friend; with the walking distance to earn hearts halved and an increased chance to earn Candy XL when walking with your friend.

The other bonuses allow each player to receive x1.5 Hatch Candy and Stardust.

In addition to these bonuses, the following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild during this event:

  • bulbasaur
  • jigglypuff
  • Strange
  • Hoppip
  • sedot
  • cacnea
  • Petilil
  • ferrous
  • Spritzee
  • swirl
  • Dedenne

Four Pokémon will also appear more frequently in the parks on specific days during the Glittering Garden event:

  • Saturday August 5 – Petilil
  • Sunday August 6 – Cacnea
  • Monday August 7 – Oddish
  • Tuesday August 8 – Seedot
