How to unlock Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Unlocking the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower will add the lands surrounding Kakariko Village to your map in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

However, like most of the Skyview Towers in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, when you reach the Sahasra Slope tower you will not be able to activate it. This is because the tower doors have been mysteriously locked, so it’s up to Link (you) to solve this problem.

Below you’ll learn how to unlock the Sahasra Tower in Tears of the Kingdom, along with this Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower location if you haven’t visited it yet.

Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower Location

As you can see on the map above, it is located west of Kakariko Village and southeast of Morok Shrine. You can easily reach this Skyview Tower by walking up the hills of West Necluda; just watch out for the Battle Talus that wanders near the base of tower hill.

How to Unlock Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower

When you reach Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you will find Billson, a Rito, who will tell you that he cannot open the tower doors.

To open the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower, you need to go down the hill it stands on and enter the Sahasra Slope Cave. There are actually two entrances to the cave, but it doesn’t matter which one you use.

Once you are in the cave, you will be able to see a collection of fragile rocks lining the walls of the caves. You want to destroy the rocks that are on the right or left wall depending on which entrance you use. Don’t destroy the rocks at the end of the tunnel; this will not take you to the Skyview Tower and you will have to defeat two monsters.

You can use Bomb Flowers fused with arrows or fuse a nearby stone with a weapon to destroy the rocks. Don’t worry about running out of weapons or stones, because you will find more as you destroy the stones.

About halfway through destroying the rocks, you’ll want to turn around and start destroying the rocks to your right or left (again depending on which entrance you used) to reveal a hidden cavern. You may find it easier to destroy all the rocks, linking the two tunnels, before trying to find this cavern.

Once you are in this cavern, use Ascend and you will find yourself appearing in the Skyview Tower.

Now all you have to do is remove the sticks blocking the sliding doors and talk to Billson again. Once this is done, you will finally be able to activate the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower!
