How to get White Striped Basculin during Go Tour Sinnoh in Pokémon Go

White-striped Basculin is the third form of this Water-type Pokémon and debuted during the Go Tour: Sinnoh event in Pokémon Go.

Whether the White-Striped Basculin is a Hisuian variant is a topic of debate in the Pokémon community, even though it made its first appearance in Pokémon Legends: Arceus and evolves into Basculegion, a Pokémon native to the Hisui region.

At the time of writing, it is important to remember that White-striped Basculin currently cannot evolve in Pokémon Go as Basculegion has not yet been released in this game.

However, what you can do is catch White-striped Basculin during Go Tour: Sinnoh Global in Pokémon Go. You can even find a bright white striped basculina…

How to get white striped basculina during Go Tour Sinnoh in Pokémon Go

If you want to catch a White-striped Basculin during the Go Tour: Sinnoh Global event in Pokémon Go, you need to follow a route. Simply choose a route, whether near or far, and the White-striped Basculin should appear along the route as you follow it. Maybe you’ll even get lucky and come across a brilliant white-striped basculina…

At the time of writing, we do not know the generation rate of the white-striped basculin. Because of this, if you have trouble finding one, we recommend following the Routes until you do. After all, the routes work a little better now than when they were released.

It is also important to note that, as of this writing, White-striped Basculin cannot evolve as Basculegion has not yet been released in Pokémon Go. Still, it’s a good idea to grab a pair of white-striped Basculin now in case you need one for when Basculegion is released. (Unless it turns out to be a raid exclusive like Wyrdeer.)

The Season of Eternal Journeys in Pokémon Go comes to an end with the Go Tour: Sinnoh Global event. During this event, you can complete the mission Go Tour 2024: It’s About Time and Space, Legends 0486 and use the new adventure effects by capturing Origin Forme Dialga and Origin Forme Palkia. During it, take the time to try out Routes, Gift Exchange, and Party Play while you hunt for rare Pokémon, battle in Go Battle League, or compete in PokéStop Showcases.

What does the shiny white-striped Basculin look like in Pokémon Go?

Let’s be honest, the shiny white striped basculina is garbage and I wouldn’t blame you for thinking this wasn’t its actual shiny form. Trust, though, it is. Once again we face the mortal enemy of any shiny Pokémon: green. For the white-striped basculino, however, this situation is made worse by the fact that the main color of its regular form is, let’s say it now, green.

The White-striped Bascuin is simply a lighter green version, with some sickly-looking fins, of its regular form. At least, we might have a chance to evolve into shiny Basculegion which is… also green… I give up.

Good luck catching a white-striped basculina!
