How to get tiles in Fortnite

Thanks to iFireMonkey on X (formerly Twitter) For help filling in the blanks, here’s how to get tiles in Fortnite:

  • Complete missions.
  • Damage enemies.
  • Open chests and containers.
  • Hit the weak spots.

You must collect a total of 300 tiles to complete the Odyssey bonus objective linked to the tiles to get all the rewards, so be sure to collect the tiles after completing one of the activities above! You must walk over the token to collect it before it disappears.

Keep an eye out for the teal clusters after completing one of these tasks, as they are tiles.

The best way to get tiles in Fortnite

Aside from passively collecting tokens while playing normal Battle Royale matches, the best way to get tiles in Fortnite is by hitting weak spots. These are the blue circles that appear when you hit something with a pickaxe. Anywhere with multiple houses, buildings, or any other types of small structures like couches, beds, or shipping containers should be your go-to spot when farming tiles, as you’ll be able to hit more weak spots.

Houses are great for farming tiles because they have lots of small objects you can hit in addition to their walls, ceilings, and floors.

However, we recommend avoiding named locations to do this as they usually have a lot of players eager to ruin your day by landing there too. Instead, look on the map for groups of unnamed buildings or structures, like the location between Ritzy Rivera and Pleasant Piazza shown in the image below.
