In addition to this cumulative list of permanent content, login events, and double delivery periods, we will have three limited-time events during the Honkai Star Rail 1.2 update. One less than expected, but there’s certainly enough ongoing content to keep us busy in the meantime.

Here’s everything we know about all the limited-time events in Honkai Star Rail 1.2:

tales of the fantastic

The Tales of the Fantastic event on Honkai Star Rail begins on Friday, July 21 and ends on Monday, August 7. You have to complete the groundbreaking quest ‘Xianzhou Loufa – A Dragon Gallant, Its Ocean Distant’ in order to participate in Tales of the Fantastic.

Tales of the Fantastic is a narrative event that mixes exploration and combat. You use ‘protagonist models’ to enhance your combat capabilities, but to empower these magical items you first need to “travel back in time” and visit historical battle locations.

Based on the gameplay in the live stream, it appears that it involves taking control of a Cycrane to complete tasks, but there could be other gameplay variations that we haven’t seen yet.

The rewards you can get from the Tales of the Fantastic event include:

  • star jade
  • clues of fate
  • Relic Relics Material
  • Materials to level up the cone of light

Where are you, mysterious trotter?

Where are you, mysterious trotter? The event on Honkai Star Rail starts on Friday, July 28 and ends on Monday, August 14. You must be at least Trailblaze level 21 to be able to participate in the event.

In the Where Are You Mystery Trotter event, our MOE quiz ‘friend’ Regin offers you a device that can track the locations of Warp Trotters. All you have to do is find them and win the battle to continue the quest and get more Stellar Jade.

underground treasure hunt

The Underground Treasure Hunt event on Honkai Star Rail begins on Wednesday, August 9 and ends on Monday, August 28. You have to complete the Trailblazer mission ‘Jarilo VI – Silent Galaxy’ in order to participate in Tales of the Fantastic, which is the ninth part of the ‘In the Sweltering Morning Sun’ mission set.

Underground Treasure Hunt combines puzzles and combat in the Great Mine of the underworld of Belobog. There’s a “scavenger hunt craze” going on in the area right now and the Trailblazer springs into action exploring levels of dangerous ruins.

You have to use stamina to solve some puzzles between fights to collect items like access cards to unlock new areas and relics that improve stats and offer combat advantages. You’ll also run into some familiar faces along the way, allowing you to add them as a test character to your party.

The rewards you can get from the Underground Treasure Hunt event include:

  • Where is the rabbit? Chat window
  • star jade
  • credits
  • clues of fate
  • self-modeling resin
  • Relic Relics Material
  • Cones of Light and Trace Ascension Materials
