Banners version 4.0 debuts with 5-star Lyney and 4-star Lynette and Freminet in two Banner phases.

Phase 1 of the Banner 4.0 schedule kicks off with the new 5-Star Pyro Lyney, featured in her Conjuring Chiaroscuro Banner, and the return of 5-Star Hydro Yelan featured in her Discerner of Enigmas Banner. Version 4.0 is here! Our Fontaine guide can help you with Fontaine reputation and Lucine’s Fountain, and you can also redeem new codes for Primogems if you want Lyney, and check him out on our tier list. To upgrade Lyney, you will need a lot of Rainbow Rose and Lynette requires Lumidouce Bell. In addition to this content, we will be getting the usual four events during the Genshin Impact 4.0 update.

Here’s everything we know about each limited-time event in Genshin Impact 4.0:

Relic Records – Hydro Nation Event Creations

Relic Records begins on Wednesday August 16 and ends on Monday August 28. You must be at least Adventure Rank 20 and have unlocked any Statue of the Seven in Fontaine in order to participate.

This looks like a standard item and enemy location event, where you have to explore specific areas to find the targets marked in your Relic Tracks. Seems like a good way to get rewarded for collecting information from Fontaine that will be useful to know in the long run.

Mega Meka Melee Event

Mega Meka Melee begins on Thursday, August 24 and ends on Monday, September 11, but the event store will remain open until Monday, September 18 if you still need to exchange your exclusive event currency. You must be at least Adventure Rank 20 and have completed the Archon Quest in Act 3 of the Prologue ‘Song of the Dragon and Freedom’ to be eligible to participate.

For the Mega Meka Melee event, the Traveler must help a Fontaine shop owner with some experiments. Also, there is an event story for Mega Meka Melee called ‘Toy War Situation Map’ where you explore Bennett’s connections to the shop.

The first task in Mega Meka Melee is called Torrential Turbulent Charge, which is an underwater challenge where you have to touch turbulent elements to engage in a race to the finish line.

The second challenge, Efficacy Simulation Area, is a combat task where you have to fight against different types of enemies, including the new Clockwork Meka varieties.

The third and final challenge, Dance Dance Resolution, is a music task, but it looks a bit different than the previous music-based challenges. Here, you take control of a ‘Toy Adventurer’ and attack at the right time, following the rhythm of the music.
