Fortnite Ghost Decoration locations: Where to find Ghost Decorations in named locations

Finding the ghost decorations is a challenge in the Fortnitemares 2018 event.

Completing it will give you extra XP to help you get plenty of Season 6 rewards and will also unlock some exclusive Fortnitemares goodies.

Please note that this particular challenge can no longer be completed. What’s new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection, and Eren Jaeger skin. It’s a good idea to know how to get XP quickly in Fortnite.

Fortnite Ghost Decoration Locations

Although you only need to find seven ghost decorations in Fortnite, there are many more on the map. It should be noted that:

  • This is not an exhaustive list, but 10 locations that will definitely be enough to complete the challenge.
  • Although named places have more ghost decorations than others, remember that you only need to shoot one!
  • Like doorbell locations, some named locations do not have one. So while we may be missing some from this list, we can confirm that Wailing Woods and Shifty Shafts are not.

Without further ado, here are 10 of Fortnite’s many ghost decoration locations:

There are specific locations here; again, these may not be the only locations within that specific named location, but if you want to find some quickly, this will be helpful:

Lonely Lodge, perched outside the main lodge north of the named location:

Leaky Lake, next to the house on the north shore:

Pleasant Park, outside the houses on the west side of the named location:

Snobby Shores, outside the second and third houses from the south:

Greasy Grove, outside several of the houses on the south side:

Salty Springs, the northernmost house in downtown:

Retail Row, inside the stores to the east:

Risky Reels, practically everywhere; here are some on the west side:

Fatal Fields, hanging on the windmill in the middle, and also inside the westernmost barn if you look east:

Lucky Landing, pretty much everywhere – here are some in the northwest trees:

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is here! To help you get started with this heist-themed season, we have guides on how to alert a security camera, protect data from Forecast Towers, and destroy weakened security walls or doors. There’s also a new Victory Umbrella! In the meantime, learn what the best weapons are, the current boosts, how to get XP quickly, how to use the best PC builds, and earn a crown of victory.

How to find ghost decoration locations in Fortnite

For Fortnitemares objectives, you have the following task:

  • Destroy a ghost decoration in different named locations (500 XP reward)

Ghost decorations look like you might think: white sheets hanging from houses and trees.

They appear in most named places, but not all. When you find one, shoot one. A single bullet or ax hit is enough and once done will be added to the challenge total.

Once that location is “finished”, you must move on to another one.

As mentioned above, some locations have multiple ghost decorations, making them easier to find, but only one is needed to progress through the challenge. Others are more difficult, and that’s where our list comes in handy.

As always, be sure to complete the match to ensure the challenge is fully recorded.
